Listen, Case. We know it's you. I'm sorry you couldn't beat out TJ Yates and this will be your second year in which you won't even get fitted for pads. If you were 10x better than the stupid Steelers qb who sucks, you wouldn't be the third stringer right now. Sit down, shut up, and wait your turn.

Ur right, maybe 2 future firsts is a little too much. I would say next years 1st and 3rd round pick plus schaub for ben. The thing is its not only acquiring Ben but also getting rid of schaubs horrible contract. I think its a win win for both clubs. Big ben has never had the recieving weapons that the texans have plus the running game. He's a great fit IMO

An exchange of two prominent football players is simply impossible. Pittsburg may decide that they'll simply eat the rest of the bonus money to trade Big Ben, but the Texans are tied to Schaub for at least 2 years(plus this one) short of drafting the next Russell Wilson. The acceleration on the cap hit would be punitive for a team that wishes to contend.

Schaub will be the Texans starting QB for as long as we're trying to win. This was basically written in stone the moment he signed that contract extension.

Why in the world would the Steelers trade for a pocket QB and a low first round pick when their offensive line play is so bad. If this trade were to go through, after 2 weeks of Matt getting sack raped, the trade would virtually end up being Schaub's cap hit + a low first round pick for Big Ben + a 3rd rounder. Makes no sense.

We don't need a QB on this team, not with this coaching staff. Tebow could be our QB at this point and we would'nt miss a beat.

We need more studs on defense, specifically our secondary. We need better play calling on offense, not the same ol boring and predictable play calling that we've had for the past 5+ years.

Schaub may not be a great QB, in fact at best he's a tolerable sufferance. We have two good receivers now, and two decent RB's. What's missing is the playcalling, and putting some of these weapons to good use. Instead, our coaching staff runs the ball in predictable running situations, and only chooses to pass the ball in predictable passing situations and with poor variety of schemes. Our offense is so simple that you could literally find a guy in Huntsville state prison who could manage the game in it. Which is exactly why trying to improve at QB is a worthless waste of time at this point. We should spend those resources to improve our defense and special teams.

I would do it as well. Give Ben the weapons Schaub has on offense and it would take us to another level. Kubes is too loyal to Schaub and would never do it though.

Maybe if Seattle knocks him out next week we would have a chance.

If we are stuck with Schaub for next three years I might need to find another team to follow. That is an intolerable thought. I literally can't take three more years of Schaub. That was such a stupid contract extension. Utterly stupid.

Would you guys prefer Schaub/1st rounder for Big Ben/3rd rounder, or...

Schaub/3rd rounder for Gabbert/1st rounder? Use the 1st on a top QB.

    Random question of the day.

So weird, I had a dream this very thing happened last night. Schaub, a #1 to Pittsburgh for Roethlisberger.

Why would the Jaguars do that?

Schaub for the 1st overall pick (Teddy Bridgewater), lol.
