one of the few things i hate about kubiak. how can you not let your QB audible? what kind of bullschit is that
The Ravens shook things up and made changes mid-season. That goes directly against the Texans philosophy.
What pisses me off so much is that on paper, we're a great team. Kubiak/Schaub are keeping us from realizing our full potential.
Seriously. I would start tonight by firing Joe. We have the best punter in the league, but we end up giving a touchdown? Come on.
That's the billion dollar question, isn't it. After extending both Kubiak and Schaub the last few seasons, my guess is he's fine with it. Only a losing season, at his point, would trigger concern from Mr. McNair. But it's doubtful given the cash cow the Texans have become. This franchise is pretty much on autopilot in that regard.
While the last few years have shown that the start of the season doesn't mean a ton, I think this game shows the true identity of this team. We are pretending, folks. Barring some major turnaround.
"Obviously we didn't play as well as we wanted to. There are some things we need to improve on. I thought we had some good plays here and there, and we've just go to go build on that."
