Has anyone else noticed that both Marbury and Iverson are starting to behave like mature adults and good team players and their teams are benefiting from this?

I believe both are in their 4th year, what I wonder is that perhaps we are expecting too much of Francis too fast. Perhaps he will not truly live up to his talent until around the 4th year.

He shows flashes of brilliance, but then makes a boneheaded play at the worst time. I guess experience is what is needed for Francis to feel comfortable in his teamates and his decision making process.

4 years, huh? Seems like an awful long time..It only took Kobe 3.

Francis doesn't have as far to go as those other two. Francis was never the ball-hogging "I" player either of them were. When's the last time you ever heard any coach tell Iverson or Marbury they need to shoot more like Rudy tells Steve?

Kobe Bryant isn't the man on his team, so he shouldn't be compared to the other 3. It's a lot easier when you're just a sidekick.

In his second season, Marbury was not a ballhog. That didn't happen until he was traded to New Jersey.

I sense the development of Francis will follow more along the lines of Iverson than Marbury.

It's only been 9 games. Give Iverson time and he'll revert back to his ball-hogging self.

Marbury is just playing incredible so far this year. But that will probably change as well.

Francis has not been spectacular this year, but he has been solid. Give Francis a little more time. 10 games into his sophmore season - he'll make a run at the MVP soon enough. [IMG]

they are actually in their 5th year so it does take a while. Steve at this point has a more complete game than either of them did. marbury is a monster though.
