Oddly enough.... D-Mo is starting the 2nd half..... I'm just not going to begin to try and understand this coach.
Aside from what the other poster said, former NBA Sergio Rodriguez is playing out of his mind last couple of games and is probably going to be the closer along with Calderon in the typical 2 point guard lineup. This guy is able to alter the flow of the game completely. He has the same level of importance in this team as Gasol. San Emeterio also takes some of Llull´s minutes at the shooting guard spot to guard bigger 2s.
DMo with two beautiful post ups in a row. Actually not even really post ups, they just threw the ball to him with good position and he laid it up and tossed in a great hook shot.
Haha I guess it kind of is. I don't care about Team Lithuania at all, I just want DMo to get all the minutes and glory.
Don't forget to go to the Team Lithuania forum and trash Kalnietis, Seibutis, and the coach for forcing him to park at the corner.
Srsly this coach...... all he needs to do is keep dmo and JV on court and lithuania wins easily, but no he keeps sending out failza and co (lavrinovish). About Dmo. He looked pretty good, though i would like more effort on rebounding. His defence was solid i think he came out of the game with 3 steals. Offence? well he didnt really had much plays for him, but he looked good at the end of the game with those 2 post ups.
Last season D-Mo showed that he had offense. It was the defense that drove everyone nuts. If D-Mo just plays average NBA defense next season he will earn a ton of minutes.
I'm going to the semifinals tomorrow. Rodriguez and Rubio at the point, Calderon and Llull as shooting guards. Simone Pianigiani is one of one of the better European coaches.
DMo right after game went for doping test LMAO (no res still I guess), And semifinals in ~12h. Great tournament system tho.
Not sure why some of yall think D-Mo had a good game. D-Mo once again was rather poor on D, other than when they were hiding him in their 2-3 zone. He got a steal when gambling (which he still does too much of) when LTU when full court press and another one when Gentile was forcing a pass. Not sure when he got the third steal. Either way, steals do not equal good D. Offensively, D-Mo was OK, I guess, although he really didn't do anything special, other than the nice post move he made at 4:55 in the 4th quarter. He doesn't quite execute the offense as well as LTU's other bigs and that one pass he threw at Lavrinovic's ankles when he was wide open himself is just another example of him rushing/forcing plays, rather than taking what the defense gives him. I'd honestly look to trade the guy while he still has some value.
