Lets put this in perspective. Andre Johnson is 6'3 230 lbs he runs a 4.41 40 yard dash and has a 42 inch vertical. That's pg height yet there's not a single NBA player including Westbrook that exhibits all those traits from the pg spot. Now Calvin Johnson even bigger freak 6'6 245 lbs he runs a 4.39 40 yard dash and has a 44 inch vertical. That's sg height yet once again not one sg in the league exhibits those attributes from the sg spot.

Football players are freaks of nature there so big so fast and extreamly athletic in terms of flexibility, even the fat boys. Both those guys are receivers yet Calvin weights as much as most pf while andre at pg height weighs more then every sf in the NBA. Lol you guys get the picture. Not to mention there stronger then every position in the NBA outside of centers and lebron lol.

The only athlete in the NBA who exhibits all those traits I just describes is the one and only lebron james. Now I do think some players would translate well to the NBA. Of course Nate Robinson seeing as he woulda been a too 2 rd pick in the nfl had he entered that draft. Wise choice not to btw he carved out 8 season and counting so far. Derrick rose would be a fabulose WR not on andre or Calvin level but he could be a faster roddy white. Westbrook he's a freak athlete just so skinny compared to Nfl players. In reality there the only 4 players in the entire league who I know could quit basketball and make a nfl roster and lebron and Robinson would be starters right now if they changed sports Tom and would easily dominate but they also are the only ones with football resume.

All in all jlin chose the right path and still almost didnt make it to the pros level. Shows how tough both sports are to make. And no that was not a jab at jlin.

you say nate robinson would be good but robinson is not even close to the level of westbrook in terms of athleticism. Not saying Robinson doesn't have the extra football skill needed to play well, but on a pure athleticism standpoint Westbrook has him beat in everything. There is no reason that RW couldn't play in the NFL had he honed his craft. Same goes for John Wall.

lol were talking football. I gaurentee Westbrook does not have a higher vertical or faster 40 yard dash. Not to mention the dude is a rock and way stronger then Russ. Westbrook is a freak but not football freak Nate is like the prototype defensive back. Check your stats before u say crazy things lol. Saying nates not athletic as Russ is like saying that lebron is the best player in the NBA. It's simply not true.

And I did say that Westbrook could play in the nfl. They don't call Nate the pound 4 pound champ of the NBA for no reason. I think your forgetting that Nate is 5'9 and weights just as much as Westbrook. Russ is 6'3 his weight is dispersed differently. Plus nates just the stronger guy. When u look at Nate play basketball you can tell he's a football player playing basketball. It's super rare you would only notice this if you played football or follow it closely. Steve Francis had a better football body when he first hit the league over Westbrook. I'm just spitting facts bro.

what if JJ Watt played PF for the rockets? 6-5, 300lbs, 37 vert at combine (ignoring the 60" box jump vertical)

He's not Hawaiian. I give him no chance in the nfl.
