Should have been three assists for Ozil in first 28 minutes. Walcott botched up two chances against the keeper. LOL @ the Sunderland player trying to exchange shirts with Ozil at halftime.
He looked pretty good didn't he? His first touches, the perfect weight on his passes, and the way he sees the plays develop makes him special. I have no idea what Real Madrid was thinking??
Ozil looked great. He will be even better for Arsenal when all of their attackers are healthy. Eto'o looked old, Schurrle looked crappy again, and Chelsea could have lost by more. Also, Altidore was robbed by the ref, that was such a stupid call. Wouldn't have mattered and he otherwise wasn't great but that sucked for him.
Yeah, I was very happy to see the ref make that blunder with Jozy! Sunderland were looking decent in the second half. Usual Arsenal problem > beautiful football, 5 clear chances, only score 1 goal > other team comes back in 2nd half and levels. Ozil looked immense. Ramsey is going to be a revelation this season. Giroud should do the business, Ozil just makes it too easy for him and he's actually a better finisher than Benzema it seems. Sure, he's not as fast or as technical but if you have someone putting them on a plate for you then all you need is the finishing touch (unlike Walcott, who needs about ten chances to score a single goal). Overall, very happy with the performance. Am surprised Eriksen did SO well for Spurs. I was interested to see how he would do. It's always hard to tell whether players from the Dutch league will be any good in a real competition, lol.
Just watched his highlight video for his first match. Not bad at all... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/961mNV4Jh80" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Giroud to me is hilarious. On the one hand he seems a bit lazy, unathletic, and just plain goofy in his interactions and play on the field. But not in an annoying or frustrating way like Berbatov (of course not as skilled, either). But Giroud is effective. I agree with Ozil he will be very good. Podolski would seem to make it even better. Ozil has always been my favorite German of this current crop so his presence definitely makes me more interested in Arsenal but it still feels wrong (being more of a Spurs guy over the years).

Amazing how well Swansea is playing considering that they've had all their star players leave each season since they've been promoted. Also Jonjo simply knows how to get it done, on both ends.
LOL at Fox's European rankings...I may have missed the ordering by a bit but it went like... Bayern Barca Dortmund Real Juventus Chelsea Liverpool Napoli City and Arsenal are their top 10 teams. What?!
