I love Tate, but because of Foster's contract he is a goner after this season.

Maybe we should trade Tate for any type of draft picks?

I think Tate might perform like Michael Turner did when he switched teams and got out from under Tomlinson's shadow. Turner wasn't good enough to take Tomlinson's job and Tate isn't good enough to take (a healthy) Foster's job, but he could be a number one back on quite a few teams.

That would be a waste. I would rather have a great #2 back for e playoff run than a late round pick next year

with 70% of the tecmo nfl going to the 2 yard screen pass as their running game, which teams would be willing to shell out a hefty contract for tate? Pittsburgh? ehh too early for dat'. Competition is a good thing.

I'm glad he is gonna be fighting all year like other posters have said. If that means he runs hard to prove something to other teams if they are interested then so be it.

Honestly depending on how they play thisyear, Arian could be the goner

Arian is still the man who is proven, and should get the benefit of the doubt, but if Tate has a clearly better season we should keep him.

But that is next year, this year competition is good. Hunger is a major motivator.

If he's unhappy he should quit his job. If he doesn't quit he should STFU.

So people get mad at Arian, because he was unhappy that he was benched for a play, but everyone is praising that Tate said he is unhappy because he is complimenting foster?

He should be. I love that he wants to play more. That's the right attitude

If they're both trying to prove they deserve more carries, they will both play harder. I don't see the problem.

If he wasn't unhappy about it means he would suck.

I can't imagine any man being happy to be the backup, the money could be nice but it seems to me that every man would want to be the alpha male.

Yes , we have the capacity to win ot all the old fashioned way when you combine those guys with what should be a dominant defense by years end.

Biggest non issue ever. There are several reasons why the Texans are giving Tate more carries, and every single one of them makes absolute sense.
