If I did not know who D. Moore ( or shall I call him D. Moron) is, I would think I am reading an actual analyst report. D. Moron is just a junkie as he call himself and has zero credibility when it comes to understand and analyse anything a little sophisticated. If he could, he would not be living his mom's basement and not able to go a decent college. Yahoo is really going to the lower side of hiring........
M.D.Moor called himself an analyst: LMAO. If Mike.D.Moor is an analyst, then our coachbadlee is the leading NBA analyst! But reality check is that Mike.D.Moor is just simply a NBA junkie!
The motive for the article has less to do with Bev being any good, and more to do with the author trying to stick it to Lin fans. He and Alex Groberman on Opposing Views are obsessed with Jeremy Lin. Moor is known to lash out at people who disagree with him, and he stopped posting on Bleacher Report because he couldn't handle the fallout of his controversial articles.
i think we can also go with a lineup of Dwight Parsons Harden Beverly Lin - Dwight is a defensive menace so he can help Harden overcome his defensive deficiencies - Parsons at the 4 will be a more athletic Ryan Anderson. Lets get him to shot 5+ 3s a game - Harden at SF is interesting. He does not have the quickness, explosiveness, tenacity or mindset to guard the top 2 guards in the league. He may not be very tall but he is a heavy set guy who has some weight to guard SFs. He reminds me of a Mark Aguirre or Adrian Dantly of the old Championship Piston teams. - Beverly at the 2 can be interesting. He can bring some energy at the 2 spot which Harden lacked and defend/scrap. - Lin at PG will have alot of deadly weapons with this line up and this will be a very fast paced group. This will kinda be like the Pistons back court with Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars but w Dwight, I think makes alot of sense thoughts?
I think if I were coach I'd for sure have that lineup going in training camp and see how it goes. I think Lin would be a killer defender at the 2. He's aggressive and high energy and quick enough to handle 2's. Harden gets to hang out and hide on the 3 or 4, whichever one is the least skilled offensive player. I think that lineup would be great defensive and would be very, very fast.
Nice. We should pattern ourselves after the championship Pistons or the champion 76ers from the 80's. Our team makeup is built more similar to those teams than the Bulls or the Heat.
While Moor's musings smack of homerism and lack objective analysis, they do spin Rockets players in a positive light. So what if he's a glorified fanboy - I do enjoy anything positive written about the Rockets. It just makes me more anxious for the season to start.
Yes, I should have made this clearer. I didn't understand the difference until after starting the thread. Sorry guys.
I think that McHale does think out of the box more than many other NBA coaches, after all starting Harden on Ibaka in the playoffs was a gutsy bold move that actually worked. But IMHO he will just float in "small" lineups as needed much like he did last season. There is not a lot of quality guards on the roster after Lin, Harden and Bev. But I could see Parsons getting 20 minutes at PF next season, and probably Garcia gets 25 minutes per game at SF. There would be many problematic small forwards for Harden to play against. The worst one by far is Durant. Also I do find it interesting that everyone discounts Harden's defensive capabilities. The guy athletically is a monster. Do not be fooled into thinking that his mad skills are not based on incredible athleticism. I just don't think that with the load he had to carry on offense last season that Harden had the energy to expend on defense. Next season with Howard and the improving young guys, I could see Harden scoring 4 or so points less and having a lot more energy to expend on defense. And do not under value a bench featuring Bev and Asik. Deep teams like the Thunder killed the Rockets when the bench was featured on the floor.
The emergence of Bev was when he took out that knee. No one knew who he was until people starting asking who broke that Russ Westbrook.
LMAO....Neither one should be starting, so let's play them together for major minutes! Oh .and while we're at it let's neutralize our best players matchup advantages nyc having him play the three? Pure genius.
sorry for the pass few months of reading his junk articles in BR till he got kicked out of BR! He doesn't even deserve the title basketball junkie, the man is obsessed hater.
