I realize this was a great moment in regular season history for the Rockets. I thought it was awesome too like everyone else. however, I would trade that in a nano second for what the spurs have, championships.
It's amazing you place the blame of this squarely on T-Mac's shoulders. If Yao could play a little, just a little bit of defense against Utah. Your comment would be useless. If more then 3 other players besides T-Mac could score in a Playoff game. Your comment would be useless. If Luther Head didn't average over 20 minutes on a Playoff team. Your comment would be useless. If we had some decent refereeing against Dallas. Your comment would be useless. Please just ignore all the great T-Mac did in the Playoffs. Please ignore he has a better Playoff PER then Kobe Bryant. Please ignore he was nothing short of amazing in the Playoffs for Houston. Please, please let your blind hatred just get in the way of all of that. You are ridiculous.
not sure if srs about you being srs about questioning tinmans srsness about wanting more championships.....
Wait, so the 13 points in 35.5 seconds is why we don't have championships? Or are you saying Stern once upon a time vetoed a proposed McGrady for Duncan/Parker/Ginobili trade?
Well to be honest I'd trade you to Spurstalk for championships too, not sure how that has anything to do with Tmac.
I would trade any injuries that occurred to rockets players over the years for a spurs championships I would trade Matt Bullards commentary for a spurs championship
Tracy went 12 for 29 that game. Now subtract out the 4 shots that made up the 13 in 35, and he would be 8 for 25 for the rest of the game. That's horrible. TMac chucked the ball 22 times a game to score 24 points when he was with the rockets. He's the anti Harden.
Yes winning is all that matters. That was one of the best comebacks in history. "Oh post up those 47 minutes were he stunk up" he wasn't the only one who did poorly the whole game. Tinman: Your acting like tmac did horrible in the playoffs. He averaged incredible numbers in the playoffs. His teams were just horrible.
Rockbox You are a true fan, I rank you up there with clutch. The funny thing is that others will respond to me cause it's fun, but when clutch posts the "Toronto game" article none of these Tracy fans would dare disagree with him. And clutch in the article did say much worse things about Tracy's tenure. You know why they don't challenge clutch? They are scared and they know he was100% right about tmac.
Incorrect. I don't say anything in relation to what Clutch said because I've yet to see Clutch comb through every thread on Clutchfans, praying that someone mentions McGrady's name so he can come in firing from the hip with nonsense rants which are fuelled by nothing but hatred. But you know... Do the Tinman thing and ignore the obvious EDIT: It's pretty ironic you use the words 'true fan'. I'm a true Rockets fan. I didn't appreciate what T-mac did to this organisation when he found out he was on the trading block. I don't really appreciate the few plays you allude to which seemingly define Tracy's time in Houston. But I definitely appreciate the historic performances he had as a member of the Rockets. I definitely appreciate him giving his all for the organisation in every Playoff series he was a part of. You see, I don't tend to tarnish someone's name, or career - just because he had a couple of errors in judgement in a regular season game. Whilst not the greatest thing to do - compared to his body of work - does not warrant the hatred you have for him.
Man you guys can over complicate any sentence. let's just say the spurs fans, even though they were humiliated that night, got it better than the rockets. Let's just not be blind to the facts here. How long was tmac a rocket? How long was Tim Duncan a spur? Parker? Ginobli?
