Since we don't have any. Cato can man the block, Yao can face up and shoot.

Not so much for the 7 games left this year, but more for next year (when Steve moves to the 2.) Situational - don't want Yao to waste fouls v. starting PFS - but if the opponent puts in the bench guy - or if we have to HAVE TO get a stop, let big Yao go.

Umm...we still have Maurice Taylor. Steve Francis is not moving to the 2 anyways. Only if a person named Andre Miller, Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Sam Cassell, Brent Barry, Lamar Odom, or Gilbert Arenas will come to Houston.

i said as much as eddie would have said in retaliation to it. i'm sure if you made a poll to rate eddie's performance this year in the starting lineup, that the overwhelming majority of members here would give him a "F" (well... maybe a "D" since he played halfway decent tonight).

been watching the rox since the late eighties.

Give Eddie time, he's only 20 something. For every rookie who comes in NBA ready like Amare Stoudemire and Kevin Garnett, there is a rookie who takes a few years to grow into an effective NBA player, like Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady. I still say that Eddie Griffin will eventually be a 15 to 17 ppg, 9 to 10 rpg and 2 bpg player for the Rockets and one of the better players in the league. It could be next year. He just needs time. Heck, if Dream and big Moses Malone want to work with Yao get them to work with Eddie to. Or better yet, get Charles Barkley to work with Eddie.

No way. He is just too slow to fight against TD, KG, CW, R. Wallace, etc..

Griffin did score 14 in only 17 minutes today. I really believe he's going to be a really good player in this league, give him two more years, and he will be a stud. I don't often see people come out and say that Darius Miles is a bust, but if you put their numbers next to each others Eddie's numbers are close if not better than Miles'. So give the kid a break, he's only 20, and watch him mature to give us one of the best frontlines in the NBA with Griffin and Yao.

I guess this may not be far fetch after all...Although, I'd put Cato at the 4 and keep Ming at the 5...

    Poor EG...:(
