I'm not usually one to start threads on league conspiracies, but I don't remember the last time that Shaq only took 11 shots in a game; or that both he and Kobe has more than 6 TO's; I also can't recall the last time Jannero Pargo played in this league, especially in a 3rd quarter when the Fakers were down; or the last time that 6 players on a team scored in double figures against the Fakers. Fakers indeed.

in the words of GrEgEcOmiCs: "stop posting!"

    ;)

seriously the game is in OT now and Kobe hit a shot to tie the game to send it into OT so I doubt the Lakers are trying to lose especially since they are fighting with the Jazz for the 6th playoff spot.

Uhh no. At least they went into OT. And Lakers are leading 110-106. They got this one. Hopefully...

I don't know, the Lakers look like they tried very hard to lose this one.

What's sad is that we couldn't beat LA without Shaq, in that game Kobe went off for 50 points.

Guh? A conspiracy to keep cash cow Yao Ming out of the playoffs? To force the Lakers to keep the seven spot and have to face the Kings in the first round, rather than later (when there's more money to be had)?

Maybe Stern has a house in Lake Havasu...

The Lakers have no reason to lose this one. Theyve got a shot for the 4th spot in the west.

Perhaps it's time to clarify my post. I have no doubt that Stern would love to see Yao in the playoffs + ROY. Prob is, I doubt the intentions of, oh let's say, certain elements on the Lakers' roster.

Everybody can rest now. Did you guys see that last play in overtime where Shaq stuffed Amare and sent his arse to the floor :) Lakers won! he he. Now if only they can stay at the six spot and face the Spurs in the 1st round. That would make it that much tougher for them to get out of the West.

    Man, wake up!
What are you talking about? There are too many alleged conspiracies in the NBA. Some Suns fans are rumoring a Stern's conspiracy of putting the Rox into the playoffs.

I would have bet $$$ that the Fakers would "lose" this game ;)

I'm glad they kicked the Suns arse and can't wait for the Suns to fade away...
