My addition to the Cliff vs. Mo debate: Cliff also draws fouls at a much more prolific pace compared to Mo Taylor. Cliff's a great fit for the Rockets offensively: can spot up for the 3 and nail it when the guards iso and can draw fouls against an opposing PF when given the ball for him to create. Plus, he's regarded as one of the best defensive forwards in the game. Pair his defensive prowess with his ability to draw fouls and that would be very effective at limiting the effectiveness of the McDyesses and the Wallaces against us. His rebounding stinks too. That's a push. He is pretty old, but if you're judging as far as best PF right now, Cliff is definitely better IMO. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Oatdog (edited November 19, 2000).]
Hey guys, It's been a while since I posted, but I've been lurking around for a long time now, and I've just got one question... Why all the bashing? All I see is how Cuttino sucks, Mo Taylor sucks, Collier sucks, Stevie isnt as good advertised and needs to be moved to another position, and there's probably more bashing I'm not remembering... But it seems like we're all forgetting one thing. We're winning. We're 6-5. If you expected better at this point you're crazy. We won't bring home a championship for a long time, we still have a LONG ways to go to complete the rebuilding process. So please, dont expect our 2.25 million dollar exception player to be an all star...No matter how good he said he was. ------------------ Who's ya daddy?
Sorry SCF, but I am just frustrated at watching a PF who can't rebound or play D or stay out of foul trouble. I just had to get it out I am thrilled with our record. Although the ISO offense is boring, it is working. There is no one who can guard Mobley 1 on 1. Hakeem has also been a very pleasant suprise. I knew he still had it in him. When Cato returns, we will be solid at the C position. And Wiz has also been playing like the end of last season. There are way more positives on this team than negatives. Sometimes you just have to blow off a little steam. ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
