If the Rockets are to make this season playoffs they need to Win 4 and loose no more than ONE! If they do this they can be sure of a chance in the playoffs at 8th seed. We will all be keeping our fingers crossed for this to happen!!
3 more wins - 43 total - will get the job done. Utterly doable. Which means they will probably win 2.
we only need to go 3-2. phoenix will lose to dallas and san antone, both of which are fighting for the division and the 1 spot, and will lose to at least one of portland and seattle on the road. the way g. state has been playing recently puts that game in doubt as well.

the suns will lose to the mavs and the spurs, while beating the nuggz and the warriors. and they will most likely win thier lsat game against the sonics whos season at that point will be over. the deciding factor is if the suns beat the blazers. we may lose to the blazers and jazz. then beat the sonics grizz and nuggz. if the suns lose to the blazers we make the playoffs.

The Sonics for some reason just reminds me of a lesser Dallas Mavericks... Especially because of the first game that we played against them. They practically killed us with the long range 3's and with Ray Allen its going to rain some more. I know if the Rockets really want to win it bad like they say they would then the 8th seed of the playoffs has "Rockets" printed on it. Rockets blowing out the Suns in their last meet really showed how bad the team wants to win. SO LETS WIN! GO ROCKETS!

Do not underestimate the Suns. They blew out the wolves last night and almost beat the Lakers in LA today. They are capable of winning some big games. In order for the Rockets to make the playoffs, we have to win ALL remaining games. Yes, all five of them!

agree. i don't see how people can assume the suns will lose to dallas and sa automatically. hell, they might as well win all the games left.

Portland - depends on how stoned the players are; Seattle - no cause they refuse to perform favors, or keep promises, for anyone. and they do have something to play for. every W definetly adds to a teams bottomline/sales (current & for next "year" re season tix holders)
4-1? Are you kidding? I better see 5-0 at this point of the season with only one slightly difficult game left in the schedule. We'll end the regular season on a season-high 6 game winning streak hopefully.
I say we keep our winning streak, that will make it 5 games won. Rockets can go thru their transitional losing streak in the Playoffs.
all the talking on this thread is meaningless. It is the most important to win game by game for the Rocketers. Only winning all of the remaining games can ensure us the 8th seed.
