Tormented, evil, wicked are all words that can describe this man and yet he couldn't bear being in captivity, part of the same torture he forced on those 3 young women. How ironic! It's safe to say his mother will be the only one crying over him. ....... ....... .......
Clutchfans with the social commentary you gotta love it. Eye for an eye right clutchfans? He's dead and also saving the taxpayers some money and the state of Ohio is kind of a good thing.
Why? every living thing in the history of the planet has/will die. It's part of life. Also, the world is better he is dead as he was a psychopath.
was expecting a hot daughter of Fidel, I am disappointed. Wish I was more educated on who this "Ariel" fellow was and why he has a girl's name.
I won't celebrate nor lament that we couldn't punish him more. I don't think he was a monster. He was sentenced to life without parole plus 1,000 years, but he could have had a life of some sort in prison, so I think it's too bad he forsook it. But, I have to be somewhat pleased at the efficiency of his solution that avoids both the enormous expense of a long detention and the enormous expense of an execution.
Yup! Building a prison/cage in your home, abducting young girls and making them sex slaves while beating and kicking them in the stomach to abort babies is just normal behavior for non monsters. Just everday life and whatnot. I'm sure he had a great personality. JFC.
I don't have a daughter and I'm fairly certain this di*kwad was the picture in the dictionary that goes with "monster".
I have 3. But, I don't think it's healthy to dehumanize criminals in my mind. It's a preamble to rationalizing inhumane punishment. And, I don't have so high an opinion of the general population that I think criminals are qualitatively different people. It is only that most people's evil impulses are either deterred or channeled into less brutal manifestations. This exercise of finding monsters and then looking down our noses at them as morally inferior isn't how we should be spending our time. I'd prefer we found and fixed problems before they result in kidnappings and murders. You can't do that if you cast offenders as monsters and don't try to relate to what they've done and why.
"Sometimes you just have to Suicide a person" Monster: a : an animal or plant of abnormal form or structure b : one who deviates from normal or acceptable behavior or character http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/monster The sad part is . . . . these types of monsters are becoming too prevalent. You could say he was flawed in socialization, had chemical imbalances or divergences in brain structure or formation if you wanted to garner sympathy but the fact is society has to establish norms and vilify aberrant behavior to maintain civility. No matter the reasons behind it, the individual has to assume the ultimate responsibility for their actions. And, it's not to hard to believe that a man used to exercising a lot of control and being the undisputed center of his world would rather accept death than to lose all control over his life and face the abuse he would face in prison.
