What event occurred around the time you joined Clutchfans?

The Sloan MIT Confrence started really talking CF's up for some reason and I found it, then I was a bit tentative to make an account in case it was bleacher report 2.0.

I'm proberly the only person who has found this page like I have..

Memories. I can recall during the name change to the site, Dave, had to go through so many obstacle vs the Rockets. Even the media gave him a hard time during training camp just to get access at one point. Boom! Now this site is faster, stronger, and fearless

 

lol i joined to support Lin, but i remembered clearly it was right at the time Harden got traded into the Rockets.

 

I joined on the evening when Jeremy Lin crossed over Deron Williams and made that sweet layup. I knew he will be back as a Rocket then.

 

Joined last winter when it became clear that the team was both way overachieving (based on experts' predictions) and playing a brand of basketball that was extremely fun to watch.

 

I joined late 2009. My rockets' fandom was at an all time high because a) we were less than a few months removed from the Rockets-Lakers 7 game series and b) I was 14.

I think I signed up because I was really curious about what was going to happen with T-Mac, whether or not they'd trade him, what we'd get in return, if/when he'd return to the starting lineup.

I can't really remember. I must have been linked here somewhere, or just goggled in "Houston Rockets fans". I craved the chance to talk to other Rocket fans and discuss the squad and get all the news.

new about the site and read alot of the Rockets on here but didn't get an account till 2011 that was probley when they tried to get the Yao and K-Mart thing going but that never happened

When the rumors of Rafer Alston being traded started, I kept on doing web searches for news and most of the links were linked to CF. I wanted to see if Kyle was worth the trade... so I joined to see opinions! Does that make me a Lowry only fan?

 

When I found out about Clutchfans

 

I think I began a regular reader of clutchcity.com (before clutchcity.net or clutchfans.net) around the time Barkley was traded to the team.

 

I wanted to join around that time but totally forgot that's why I signed up in 2010 lol my bad

 

22 game win streak. Though I have been a regular lurker since clutchcity.com. Never really got into the whole message board thing

 

Last season for Olajuwon with the rockets and an aspiring Francis along with Mobley as the new faces for the franchise. That was the main events when I joined at the time clutchcity now clutchfans : )
