Andrew Bogut or Omer Asik?

Bogut = past his prime and injury prone.
Asik = entering his prime and reliable as heck.

No question about it.

 

Marc Gasol over both of them.

 

Bogut when healthy. Asik when Bogut is not healthy.

 

Bogut is the better player, but he clearly can't stay healthy. He has injury problems left and right

 

If only he would've found his inner gymnast it could've been...

Bogut healthy is easily the better player. Bogut is rarely healthy and paid more.

It's a tough choice. Bogut raises the ceiling of a team that Asik hasn't shown the ability to. But Asik has never had any injury concerns as a center and is on a better contract.

Asik would have to be the right choice for me.

 

I'd rather see Rox get Varejao for Asik. Varejao would be an interesting complement to the frontline.
