Instead of thinking that Gold is better then Silver, think of Platinum is better then gold. Platinum & Red

I still think black could be a nifty and important Rocket color. You know, like the color of the scorched remains of their opponents, left in their trail of their... Rocket-boosters? Other than that, it's awesome to hear about red and silver being the main colors even if it's just a rumor. Those two along with black where what I thought would be the best way to simplify the unis without going too retro. And if black was there we could have a nice alternate away uni with black as the main color and red and silver as complimentary ones.

I really like red and silver. But I wonder if the potential sponsor for the arena is coke as they have been mentioned and our new colors red and silver are to have some way of connecting them to us. Would be pretty sweet for coke if this was true. I hope coke is the sponsor and they name the new arena the Cola Court.
Hey you have a good point. I was thinking of the same thing but when I was telling my dad about the colors it matched the "Reliant Energy" logo. So its interesting...
Oh please no silver or chrome or some of this kiddy robot stuff jerseys. If we will get jerseys with silver in it then in like 2 years we all gonna hate them as much as we dislike the PJ's now.

Nope. World renown fashion designer Eiko (whatever her last name is) is designing our uniforms and our logo. You have probably already seen her work and you probably did not know it. She did the costumes for the movie "the Cell" which were pretty out there in left field, if you know what I mean. For some reason though, it looked really cool. She likes dark colors to be dominant in her designs so it makes sense that the shade of red we are possibly using for the new uniforms will be darker. But dont be alarmed that a fashion designer is doing our team's new threads. Orlando had a fashion designer do their new threads a couple of years ago. I forgot her name (Shante' i think it was) but she came up with the stars that are sewn in the jersey fabric that you see and that looks pretty cool. So maybe Eiko can come up with something pretty flashy too.
That's an interesting point you got there. If our colors are going to match the arena name sponsor, they might as well match the whole arena. Everything is beginning to add up and it is all making sense.
Oh, BTW. For those who are stupid and can't read between the lines. Yes that is the Rox new arena in the pic above.
BTW, I went to a game earlier this season I think it was the game against Miami if anyone went and Coca Cola was out there promoting some new can they had. They were giving them away after the game. The Coca Cola thing is making a lot of sense right now.
Not to get off topic (uniforms) here, but is it just me or do those seasts look like even if the guy in fornt of you was Yao himself, you'd still have no problem seeing. Maybe it's the angle?? Anyway, pretty sweet (as long as I don't have people kicking me accidentally in the head
Geez, people are complaining about the new uniforms, and we haven't even seen them yet! I thought I was negative... Come on people...Pink uniforms with green polka dots and a big, purple swastika on the front would look better than our current ones....
