I don't know which of my emotions wins: disgust (at the wasted #16 pick) or delight (that Morey was willing to do whatever it took to get rid of that mistake). Someone I love has a significant social anxiety disorder, has to take medicine, but still has the discipline to excel professionally. Which starts with showing up for work. I suspect poor Royce has a personality disorder on top of his other problems.

Morey has done this plenty of times. Heck, he got rid of Francis the same way. And that was just to get under the tax line IIRC. And this goes on around the league often. Heck, Boston paid Memphis to take Fab Melo off their books. No matter who we picked at 16, it was clear that one of DMo, Jones, or #16 pick would've been gone to make room for Howard. If anything, it just made things clear.
Plus, if Zeller was chosen by the Rockets, the next Hitler would be born so you definitely don't want to mess with the past.
