    **** this ****!
I thought driving in the rain was bad yesterday; didn't realize all of Houston goes to school on Tuesdays.

Parking at UH is bad but some people make it sound like the worst experience ever. I rarely had trouble parking there, memorizing where all the lots are will save your bacon.

ahh, that brings back many great memories of fighting for a parking spot a mile away from class.

Garage parking is really useful at UH. Worth the 190 or whatever it was.

Even the garage parking doesn't help much. It's still the same ol' story of driving around trying to find a spot, following people back to their cars, etc.

    Parking at UH sucks.

park in the ERP. the ride literally take 7 minutes and drops you off in front of the SC.

When the light rail is completed over there, people will be able to park all sorts of places for free and catch the train in. Slightly more hassle, depending on your perspective, but a whole lot less walking and frustration.

I never really had parking problems because I go to UHCL especially with evening grad classes. But yesterday was the first day they're allowing freshmen and sophomores and damn that school just is too crowded to support that many students.

    $400. But still worth it.

Just park at the first spot you find lol, even if its on the roof. Not like the walk is that much different. 5 minutes, tops.

Having trouble finding parking ~5 minutes a day > $10,000 for dorming. Unless you're into that stuff, anyway

I have morning classes so I have no problem finding a spot. It is funny seeing all those people trying to get my spot when I'm leaving though.

You gotta know how to follow people. The crowd will always come out at the 45 or 15 min mark because teachers let out 15 mins early. That's when you pounce.

I'm glad that I graduated before the major stadium construction started. I wouldn't be surprised if the parking garages are packed to the brim for the next few semesters.

It's all about timing. Follow people from the walkways and don't lose them or someone will sneak in and take it from under you. Good luck.

I stopped getting the parking passes and just parked on Alabama. It sucked when it was dark out, but I never had any bad experiences.

11:30-1pm is the worst. It was particularly bad when they were doing construction on the new parking garage..had to show up 30 mins before class.

    That's it? :p

Before they got those extra outlying lots, you'd need a good 60-80 mins to find parking during peak times.
