Is it just me or is Hakeem been playing real d*mn good lately?? A good example tonite is with 2 minutes left Dream knocks the ball loose and is downcourt waiting for the pass before any of the young'uns got even close. What happened to his breathing problem? I guess he has it under control I guess what all these ramblings are leading up to is this question, Is the reason that Dream is doin so well against Phoenix because the Suns don't have a "true" center or is this game just indicitive of what we can expect from him this year?? And finally, with less than 10 seconds left, Dream steals the ball and passes downcourt for the slam to seal the game!!! Kick$ss!!!!! BTW, this is my first thread I have ever started. Dream has been playing great all season, he is just getting comfortable, and look, he contributes mightily. If our guards would give it to him like this every night, the team would be more diversified and harder to contain. I think Rudy wanted MO to be this type of player, but he realized that he still had a Dream. Hakeem just gets motivated on some nights to put on a performance (remember his 30-pt game last year). Now only if he can preserve some of this motivation and use it on other nights. As for the Phoenix issue...I doub't that Hakeem would be advertising his skills like that. I think Rockets2k was suggeesting that Hakeem's exceptional game might be due partially to the fact that Phoenix doesn't have a center, not that we trade Hakeem to Phoenix. ------------------
Now now Wizzy..I didn't say a word about TRADING Dream...That's blashemy IMHO. I was asking if the reason that Dream looked so good against the Suns was because they don't have a "true" center. All I saw were the highlights on ESPN and it was great the way Francis and Mobes took the foul on Dream personal. I'm impressed and encouraged by this win and by Dreams play. It caught me in tears watching The Dream playing like THIS! I've told my girlfriend how great The Dream was in the Championship years. She never believes what I said until tonight. He is unbelieveable! I'm still crying ...... ------------------
