Im proud of Posey...he's really dedicated his life to football. Love the determination and work ethic.

People just find things to talk about. I stopped listening. So, sure, the workload’s big. I don’t really care, man. Whatever.”
This whole thing might be something that Foster cooked up in order to avoid preseason. Kubiak might be fine with that because he makes Foster carry the ball so much. If it is, I'm fine with that. To be honest, I see Foster having a Barry Sanders-esque finish to his career. He will probably be one of the ones that goes out while he's still very productive because he likes to do things his way. He also just signed with an agent to market his brand, so I can see him still being in the spotlight after his career, as well.
huh, interesting. what happens if his son fall in love with football? would arian still let him play?
A lot of football players say that they don't want their kids to play the game but at the same time, I doubt they would go out of their way to stop their kids if their kids really wanted to play or had supreme talent at it.
I could see that too. I'll be surprised if he still wants to play and is still productive after his current contract given the decline most RBs go through. I think he is really torn about the game. He loves the game itself because he grew up with it, but he knows that it could be taking years off of his life and he obviously doesn't seem to care for the daily grind of it (not that many do, but still).

Adam Schefter: Ed Reed has financial incentive to be in that (Chargers) game. His contract has $1 million dollars worth of per game incentives, meaning that each game he plays this season, Reed will collect $62,500. This is a pay for play contract.
Premeditated hold out...there is no point to playing him in the pre-season but the NFL needs reasons as to why he's not playing other than "we don't want him to". Foster has always had issues with media. From the Anti-Awesome MRI result to the fantasy folk "making him sick", this is nothing new. It's also why he quit Twitter.
Sucks for Hopkins not being able to play in Sunday's game but better safe then sorry when it comes to his long term health. I am concerned though that like Posey last season we won't see a Matt Schaub - DeAndre Hopkins connection form until early playoffs or the last games of the regular season.
Not worried at all. I believe in the Schaub-Hopkins connection. I mean , I'm sure Hopkins can run crossing routes all day.
