Thought this was a pretty incredible story (not just cause I'm a Gator alum). I remember years ago, before I went to UF, they had a point guard with only 1 eye (think his name was Eddie Shannon)... but 1 hand is something else. Unbelievable. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bas...sketball-prospect-offer-florida-gators-report INB4 'better left hand than Jeremy Lin' <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/R0kEyJ-tToo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Wow, unbelievable. I mean, we have a two-time world championship in swimming who has only one hand and no legs, but he is competing in special worlds anyway with other handicapped. Zach however is playing against people with both arms...unbelievable!
I played against a dude like him at the rec in college. I kept telling myself that he's going right, but he'd still cross me over from time to time, smh. Dude used his left nub for a 1-dribble crossover. He was decent.
If someone was using their nub to back me up for position... I might throw up. Much respect though. I remember seeing great tennis players with one hand back when i played, and it always amazed me.
It's cool to see him succeed despite the handicap, but it seems like none of those defenders understand how to defend a player who favors one hand.
Didn't get it; fill me in on it? Great story nonetheless; looks like a good shooter as well. You think they force this guy right more...
