I'm gonna say you driving 120 in a truck on a public highway is infinitely more idiotic than a Nascar driver in a race car on a track.

No. Just 120 max I think.

I would've gone faster but the aerodynamics of that car sucks. The wind pushes you too much that you feel you can lose control.

I find your username ironic. My wife seeing me almost get hit by a car going over 100mph is the main reason I don't own a motorcycle anymore. I will be the last person to tell you motorcycles are safe and I've ridden them for over 30 years without having a serious spill. I just consider myself crazy lucky.

132 MPH in my SS Camaro on an open stretch on 1-45 south of Madisonville. I'm not sure what it tops out at but it was pretty smooth and had plenty of pedal left.

I did 110mph in a 1973 Gran Torino. That thing was shaking like a dog ****ting a peach seed.

My truck topped out at 98, i was out in the country going downhill. I was already cruising at around 75 and you speed up going downhill, so i just couldn't help myself to see how fast i could go.

Looking at the responses in this thread, apparently I'm a puss. I hit like 105 one time in my old Accord. It was just for an instant to see what it felt like to drive that fast, then I slowed it back down to 70. I've been a passenger in a car going between 110-115 (next time that happens, I'll ask to pull over and exit the vehicle). In my current car, I've gotten up to like 85, maybe 90. Once I realize I'm going that fast, I immediately let go of the gas and coast back down to mid 70's.
