Sorry, I don't have the news story to the actual suicide, if someone can find it that'd be great. I saw this on Reddit and it was pretty interesting, so...

he's got some interesting thoughts, seems he did it bc his life insurance was expiring, but do they pay out life insurance if you commit suicide?

He did sports statistics for 15 years? Watch out you sports junkies. Too much reading on the Internet is not good;)

He was "very satisfied with his death". Sure he was. But he was not "original" as he though he was with the idea. Suicide has been going on for ever and will not stop. In fact "ritual" sucides similar to this one is rather dangerously "popular" in Japan. My mighty God, why couldn't you make us human perfect? Among all species on earth, we human are the only one that would williingly kill ourselves, starve ourselves (a.k.a. food disorder), and deprive ourselves from sleeping, all the while believing that we are the smartest:mad:

Part of his reasoning wasn't that bad. He could either get stuck in a nursing home and slowly waste away or kill himself at a time he felt he had nothing left to gain from the world before the dementia destroys his brain.

His life his decision, I respect that. But I do not agree with any of his reasons. I especially don't like the website he left behind. All that "convincing" crap he wrote could mislead other people to do bad things to themselves.

What an ass. That's all I can think reading through some of his tripe.

I believe there is only one possible excuse for suicide...a terminal disease...otherwise, suicide is NEVER and option.

Actually the reason he created the website was mainly for attention, to create a legacy; something he couldn't do in his real life for whatever reason. He left behind no offspring, only had siblings. So his story could only live on through this website.
