Dang they had the game if this would have been a NCAA tourney game it would have been devasting. It was a choke job to put it kindly. Oh well they would have gotten torched by Georgetown there is nobody on techs squad that can even contain sweeney. Decent season for Tech I expected more after the great start but youth and lack of big men was to much to over come. 'Dre will be back next year with another year with Knight under the belt, things are looking up.
Well, they're technically playing for 68th place. Whether or not there are 67 teams better than them is a different question...one we wouldn't have to ask had they managed to have a .500 record in Big XII play.
Agreed, but the Big 12 is the best and toughest conferences today...Two teams representing in New Orleans and will be the two to face each other... Tech should have one...I respect a guy that admits he didn't live up to his standards and rejected his base salary...You gotta love Bobby, even if you don't agree with him...

Tech beat the Golphers this after he gets his 21st victory this season. 3rd place NIT, should have won the whole thing atleast they recovered from the collaspse against St. Johns. A good case can be made both ways on whether they should have been in the NCAA's. They did beat UT(most likely the National Champs) and forced OU to OT on back to back days. Not bad at all for a non-tournament team.
