Good to see our starting point guard working and improving on things that I'm sure were highlighted to him as weaknesses in the exit interviews

It's amazing how some "fans" seem to care about the team winning as if that has any human meaning by itself, rather than caring about the actual people involved which is each and every one of the individual players that comprise the team coaching staff and front office, each with their own heart and brain.

 

You know what. Since my post begat the Clutch response. Let me answer. In no way is criticism not allowed against Lin. In no way do I not understand that criticism can be made against any of our players, even strong or unfair criticisms. But In no way do most of the threads about Lin devolve into idiocy because logical Rockets fans made a critique against Lin and Lin fans went bonkersand called everyone and their mothers racist or whatever else most of you guys are imagining. This is a complete myth. A complete myth. In other words:

Rockets poster 1- Jeremy's summer success doesn't mean much because there's no structure in those games.
Lin fan- How dare you?? you are a racist!!

The above doesn't happen!!!!and sometimes the op feels it indeed happened to them and they were called a hater for just making an innocuous comment, when this is what really happened:

Lin fan- no, but it does indicate something though it remains to be seen how that translates in-game.
King1- Everybody has a training program. Stop talking about the scrub like he's special.
Lin fan- But this is a thread about Lin's summer training. What's wrong wih taking about that.
Rockets fan 1- but King1 does have a point though. Everyone has training sessions and better ones at that and this was not so special.

You want Lin fans to ignore the putsowns, when any put down of Harden, Parsons, Bev would and rightfully so, have the GARM up in arms. Since when has defending a Rockets player turned into a bad thing, lol and when did all the haters get passes but those who respond become the idiots.

 

It is time to let go. A time to move on. It was an inconvenience to you, not a disaster, and people will have generally forgotten about it in a week.

 

I was called a racist because I said Lin was not Rosa Parks or Jackie Robinson and "This is the team of Yao." To which the response came: "It's just like a racist to have ONE example of a token minority [Yao]."

Apply this to the "Is Harden pudgy" conversation. I believe Harden's core is strong as crap, and if I were a Harden-type player, I would work my core hard too. Note that "washboard" does not equal strong.

 

This is why people love Lin.
