Not even close to the potential that Tmac had. Otherwise, he looks like can maybe become a future 20 ppg type of scorer.

Tracy had bigger wing span and I guess Jeremy Lamb will be Tmac lite at best if he can ever reach that level

he has yet to earn starter minutes.

You need to be more specific... Are you talking about MVP Mcgrady or whiny Mcgrady?
I think he has a greater chance of being the latter, rather than the former!

Lamb will probably be more on Joe Johnson's level I expect. Maybe a prime Steve Smith or Jimmy Jackson? He'll be solid no doubt, but not superstar level. TMAC was on a superstar level similar to D-Rose, Iverson, Raptor's Carter.

A JJ or Steve Smith-like career would be a great success.

Lol OP is the same guy that compared Rudy Gay to Vince Carter in Toronto.

Well, we have a lot of ignorant posters on Clutchfans. Lamb may end up being very good, but the next T-Mac? I highly doubt it.

There is no next McGrady, thank god. Lamb is skinny and fluid like She-Mac and doesn't play good D so it that regard they are similar. Lamb has potential to be a good player.

Rockets raped the Thunder on that trade. Rockets got Harden and Dwight  in the trade. If they don't do the trade we are talking about Lin, Lamb, Parsons, Asik, and if we are going to land Lebron or Carmelo....ugh!

No he doesn't drive to the basket enough and can't created off the dribble just yet. He is Nick Young right now.

DailyThunder commentary is divided on if he'll even get any minutes this year.

I feel sorry for the kid. It's not his fault that he got tossed into the middle of the most lopsided NBA trade in years.

    Not really.

James Harden is a superstar now at the rip old age of 23.

Doesn't matter what Jeremy Lamb becomes since James will more than likely be the best SG (possibly eventually overall player) in the NBA.

Jeremy Lamb can be a 5 time all star when he hit his prime and throughout his career, we still won that trade.

Ask all the OKC fans who they'd rather have from here on, Harden or Lamb. The answers would probably surprise you and only you.

I see him as a poor man's JR Smith at his ceiling. Low IQ chuckers rarely pan out.

Lamb's feel for the game is ridiculous. One of the best in the league.

If he doesn't get minutes, coach Bonehead should be fired in December. They have to give him every chance to develop. There will be a riot on Daily Thunder if Fisher is a regular rotation guy in front of Lamb.

They need RJ and Lamb to carry the 2nd unit. Lamb needs to develop the same chemistry with Collison that Harden and K-Mart had except he'll have scoring help with RJ running the point.
