MJ for the fact he did not take the ridiculous shots that Kobe does every game at that volume. Kobe is a better shot maker though.
Why MJ, why not Clyde Drexler or Reggie Lewis or Micheal Ray Richardson? I see so many kobe threads coming up, it seems like his stanch fanboys are smelling the end of his career coming soon... that day of reality is going to hit them hard
Kobe has taken well over twice as many three's as MJ and has made nearly 3 times more than him. Those numbers aren't similar at all. You have to keep the percentage in context. There's no doubt the Kobe is the better 3pt shoot. I'd like to see analysis on who is the better mid range shooter.
Jordan: It wasn't even close. Jordan was as close to automatic mid range that one could get. Kobe has the better 3 point range and possibly more crafty offensively. Jordan simply mastered the game inside and out, anything inside the 3 point line Jordan simply owned. Ill take Jordan every time.
Ok, so I was lurking around at lakersground just to see if any Howard gossip would pop up since you know, it's kind of a long boring summer. Anyways, found this gem, a work of art and masterpiece written by one of the many intelligent LA fans:
Was it not said last year that Kobe had the best efficiency in the NBA in the post? I thought I remember reading that. I'm not saying that means he's the better shooter than Jordan, I just mean it must be close if Kobe has that level of efficiency in the midpost area.
steve nash and Rip freaking Hamilton Rip has the best midrange game. kobe and jordan ain't got schit on Rip
