I will list some of the off-courts issues he had in the past. Let see if some of you will still want him.

    - Pleaded guilty to a criminal charge for firing a gun outside a strip club.

    - Drew suspensions from just about every team he had ever been with.

    - Disgruntled and fined by NBA for openly asked to be traded.

    - Had issues with coaches. Kicked off the Pacers' bench when S-Jax had heated words w/ Carlisle after a substitution.

I am sure there are others, and to me, he is like a stick of dynamite, ready to go K-BOOM!

No but they have guys that play D like its the only reason to play basketball. Honestly, the combination of Lin and Harden is the problem on the defensive end. No D of any kind out of your starting guards. It's the reason Beverly is such a treat when he is out there. It makes the defense out of the guards look like they belong in the NBA and not on a high school court.

I'll take him. We need some attitude in our team since we can't have World Peace. Plus he banged Tim Duncan's wife, so thats another team we can add to the Hater's list.

Probably agent-driven rumor or flat out made up.

Stephen Jackson is currently training and hoping to join a contender. I've heard from Jackson and/or his agent that Houston looks good as a possible landing spot.

Still waiting on the Rockets & Jamaal Tinsley.

Anyone here remember Kennedy's coverage of the Dwightmare?

This POS shouldn't even be quoted. Hell, he shouldn't even be a person.

good for anti Lebron, KD, purpose. with Camby as team captain, SJAX could revive his career and implant badboy attitude/toughness which will be awesome during playoffs.. the only problem is we have too many SF already, but none of them are as tough on D as SJAX.

y'all hate him but Arrest pushed the team when he brought toughness.McHal, Camby, Hakeem on bench can control SJAX.

when you have to face Durant, Spurs, Warriors, Memphis, Clippers.. you need mental toughness and balls. SJAX brings that.

Disagree - I think this is overrated. I thought Perkins' "angry" basketball hurt OKC a lot more than it helped

Didn't he want to play here several years ago, when GSW shipped him to Charlotte?

Id take him over reggie williams.

I like Jax. But sometimes it seems he tries to hard to be a goon, instead of just hoop. Its okay to ruffle a few feathers but sometimes he can mess with flow of the game. With that said, I'd still give him a chance. Had the Spurs kept him, they'd prolly been champions last year IMO.

I'm down. PA/H-Town dude all the way. Love his tenacity. Can use a guy with his fire on this team.
