Wrong! It was all Linsanity. There won't be much obsession if Lin doesn't perform next season, and the season after. People are not stupid, in general.
So many players have been underestimated. Heres an interesting perspective on Harden. http://asubstituteforwar.wordpress....ons-star-upside-was-missed-in-the-2009-draft/
Excellent read! Thanks for the link. Many factors pointed out in this article can be applied to Lin as well. In fact, there were many similar analyses on Lin last year after his breakout as to why he was overlooked by colleges and then the NBA draft, in fact, too many to list. Oh, well, all is well if it ends well and I believe it will.
His upside is that he's extremely marketable and hopefully we can actually trade him to get a quality player.
No, Wall has a much higher upside, people underestimate how much of a freak athlete Wall is. Lin has shown flashes of being a very good PG, and with more time in the league I'm sure he'll be fine. But Wall is a different animal
This and Lin outplayed Wall every single time. I didn't see much higher upside there except Wall claimed he is the Best PG of the league.
Actually i watched every game. I live in NyC now and had to suffer through Linsanity. I said he was over rated and a chump then, and laughed at knicks fans gawking over the guy. I was in Indonesia back in 2001-2003. So yes i watched him play and to this second do not see anything worth 8 million dollars. Maybe a rookie contract. But that is it.
So you saw "Linsanity" and thought he was overrated though pretty everyone has been saying he sucks since then. What would make you think he doesn't suck if breaking records, winning, and playing out of your mind doesn't impress you.
It's funny. And this guy claims he has no bias against Lin and is just unhappy as a 'Rocket's fan.' Here, ladies and gentlemen is a classic example of the elusive and supposedly mythological species. A lin hater. Apparently being a rockets' fan doesn't automatically rule out the former. Who'd have thought it?
If you can specifically define what clutch is, I might be able to look it up for you. For example how many minutes left in the 4th quarter, how many pts behind, etc.
