They're not good enough. But then, neither are half of these teams.

Seriously GSW is too far below us to consider as our "rival". More like our whipping boy. Like Utah and the Lakers.

I think its GSW or OKC GSW cause of the 3 point shootout cand the c u next Tuesday thing or OKC cause of the Harden steal and PB play on WB

    OKC
    Fakers
    GSW
    Spurs

Let's fix them before we fix Heat.

    Scissors and krytonite.
That is, OKC and the Spurs.

OKC: Harden, playoffs, and death threats. Nuff said.

Spurs: They sit on the WC throne. 13 points in 33 seconds notwithstanding, we haven't been much of a rivaly since Robinson vs Olajuwon, and it's time we turned it into one. I10 R belong to us!

OKC is a the most legit rival for basketball reasons and beyond:
    1) They are considered the favorite and thus the team we are aiming to knock off to get to the Finals
    2) We had a surprisingly competitive series against them this past year, setting the scene for future clashes
    3) They're upset about the Westbrook injury (understandably) and probably want revenge
    4) Harden trade basically set up our reincarnation
    5) Durant vs. Parsons/Garcia is a compelling match-up.
    6) Jeremy Lamb, our former 1st round draft choice, is expected to fill the shoes of Kevin Martin, formerly our best player (so sad)
    7) OKC in Oklahoma is close enough to generate some TX-OU rivalry among casual fans
I respect the hell out of OKC and am really looking forward to the battles this year and beyond.

Me too, I think OKC will be our biggest rival but Golden State is a very close second. Those games should be fun!!

I voted LAL, but there are plenty of right answers.

For the fans, I think the Lakers will be the most hated team, for obvious reasons.

As far as competitive rivals, I think it will be OKC. The west should come down to us and them for the next 3/4 years at least.

For the players, I think it may be GSW. It's no secret that they don't like each other.

Its a tie between those three for me for THIS season. Although my most hated teams, along with those three, are still Utah, Dallas, SA, and LAC

You know, the more I think about it, I hate most other teams in the NBA lol.

    OKC,

The Lakers and Jazz are not good enough to be considered rivals. Although I love it when the Rockets beat them.

I really do not get the obsession some posters have with GS. They are an overrated team who beat a Denver team who was injured and played terrible. We have no history with them, and i do not think they are on the same level s the rockets (last year they started great but were very mediocre after the All star break, and I’m not even looking at the injury problems we can expect from them)

OKC. Analysts will never let the Harden trade die (especially now, since it's so overwhelmingly lopsided) and they beat us in the playoffs last year.

I said Other - because our biggest rival next year... Is ourselves. (Ooohh deep). For eels though yo! We are STACKED with talent son!! Are you freaking kidding me? Howard AND Asik at center, Parsons and Garcia at the 3, James Harden (need I say anything more?) And an improved Lin/ Beverley/ Jones / Motiejunas / Smith.

This team is oozing talent out of its freakin' eyeballs!

OKC, SA, MIAMI .... Good luck.

Our biggest enemy is Houston Rockets!

    We have:

    Howard/Camby/Smith
    Asik/Motiejunas/Jones
    Parsons/Casspi/Covington
    Harden/Garcia/Williams/Young
    Lin/Beverley/Brooks/Canaan

We have a truckload of talent. We must develop offense and defense plans with this new group.

I hope we make the 2nd round of playoff this year. Next year, WCF, and in 2015-16, NBA Final!
