He probably think that Yao fan would think that Yao should take every single shot.

Jeff can't coach. He had similary problems in terms of incorporated Ewing with Houston and Sprewell

Van Gundy can coach but anyone who had watched the Knicks of last few years (especially their Finals run) would know that Van Gundy's offensive scheme was not dissimilar to Rudy's. Isolation for the center in the post or clear-out for the guards, no inside-outside cooperation between the center and the guards, couldn't run the break. Plus we're overall not a weak rebounding and defensive team. We're stats wise the 3rd best rebounding team in the league. A few bad rebounding and defensive performance (mainly due to Larry Smith's insistence of playing small ball) didn't make us a bad rebounding and defensive team.

    Haha...

I do think that there may be some Yao-only-fans want Yao to take every single shot after watching such a frustrating game that Rockets are supposed to win.

Specially, as they know how Yao did in this game. (50% shot percentage, 7-8 FT, 6 REBs, 4 assists, 2 TOs in 33 mins - less mins than what Rudy T used to do)

Did yao get blocked by tim thomas or was that a foul? I thought it Thomas got a lot of hand but not sure if he got the ball first.

When even my 10 years old cousin asked me why the Rockets stopped pounding it inside during the game, I knew we were in deep trouble.

right...they sure let him play A LOT during those first few weeks huh? And they went to all this trouble to get him out of china for what? To let him stand on the weak side and watch a guard iso and turn the ball over. Nice development strategy there Rudy T/LS/and company.

That basically sums up why we lost. Yao was on fire in the first half, and the bucks do not have an answer for Yao. The Rox just fail to get the ball to Yao in the stretch run. He only takes 3 shots in the later part of the game. Tons of turn overs from bad pass.

Franchise has a terrible turn over game, even 1 at the really end.

From the looks of this game, the current Rox is not really a playoff team. Even if they end up making the playoff, it seems that they don't deserve it. A team without much structure and system. Many times looks like a bunch of guys playing pick up where nobody knows anybody.

Okay, I know everyone's fustrated, but first of all Eddie didn't take more shots than Yao, and second of all Eddie and Mobley shot over 50%, so yeah, Yao may have not gotten enough shots, but shooting wasn't the problem. The problem was rebounding and turnovers. Steve's six turnovers were inexcusable. It is unfathombable to see the Rockets shoot 51% and the Bucks shoot 42% and lose. They got off 20 more shots. Ridiculous, and the Rockets only had only 5 offensive boards compared to their 16. Unbelievable. My main complaint would be, why did he wait so long to bring Yao in, and second, when Mo Taylor looked completely ineffective in the 2nd half, why did he take so long to bring Eddie back in?

MOOCHIE NORRIS IS NO LONGER ABLE TO PLAY IN THE NBA !

He did have a good season a year ago, but I think that Mooch is done. I think the guy is real nice and down to earth, but he has no game left in him. He plays like he is out on some playground .

I agree with a lot of the sentiments on this thread, especially the one about major moves taking place in the offseason. The one good that can come from underachieving to this extent and missing the playoffs once again is the fact that we will be forced to reshuffle the deck. We need an old school coach, and Mobley, while talented, must go. You simply cannot have 2 shoot-first, turnover prone guards running things. Atleast Francis can take over in spurts; we need an alving williams type to complement him, as an ESPN writer said yesterday. But I just don't know how far this team can go with Francis on it. The offense we should be running that of Sacramento, with Yao in the middle orchestrating things. The Kings, or any other team with good ball movement, would never be able to run an effective offense with Stevie on the court; he simply hangs on to it or dribbles to long without looking for the open man. B-ball is a game of opportunities and timing; an open cutter is only available for so long, and if you miss him...that's it!! This season's playoff hopes are basically over, but this collapse should force Caroll to make some significant moves this summer.

    We played like crap...

Like one of the Bucks announcer's said..."They (Rox) don't know whether their playing zone or man to man...that's why the Bucks can score at will..."

    Sweet...
