Kobe just survived a career ending injury. Have you been living under a rock?

Harden has to play some defense first.

Maybe I'd have a different opinion if he actually played here, but this doesn't look right. Melo looked great in photos hopped red.

Man, how does he see out of those eyes?^^^^

Step Aside, Kobe Bryant: Houston Rockets' James Harden Is the Best Shooting Guard in the NBA

Harden is the best until the Rapist proves that he is remotely close to pre-injury Kobe.

Harden - no post up, no defense, NO PROBLEM. He can improve his D over time and as far as a post up - I'd rather him face the hoop and x over or euro step to a tomahawk slam than pretend to be a pwr forward.

Agreed, Harden is currently the best SG in the NBA, Kobe is in a completely different category, he's a formerly great player now hobbled by injury. I honestly hope Harden never reaches that.

kobe is the next best thing to MJ. gotta respect 5 time champ. Harden just started his first year.haha no doubt beard is the future but it's too early. he's only made 1 game winner so far. kobe has documentaries on his achievements.

Again, this was talking about who is going to be the best SG in the NBA this upcoming season, not which SG has compiled the most career highlights or which SG has historically been better.

Everyone knows that Kobe used to be a great player and no one is trying to say otherwise but that doesn't mean he's as good a SG as Harden is now.

Surprised there wasn't a Kobe-ESPN-sloogefest on here. They actually gave credit where credit was due and acknowledged Harden as the Top 2 guard in the league (for the most part).

    I love the Beard

Of course the one guy outta the 5 who picked Kobe as the best SG in the game was a guy who's is dam from espnLA...

He may as well be a writer from the bleacher report

It's between him and Wade for best SG next season. I expect Harden's points and rebounds to go slightly down while his percentages (and maybe assists) go up. Kobe will take time to recover and he probably won't be the same. Wade put up some pretty great regular season numbers last season but his overall trend is going down.
