like nothing but work buildings, that's east of 35.
go back on 35 and head downtown or to campus.

you just want to find a place to eat or people watch?

you realize it's freaking hot outside.

I went there a few weeks ago for a media convention and tried the Segway tour with a group of people, which was fun and informative. The place is right across from the capital building. Beats walking around in the heat.

You need to reserve it at least a week in advance tho.

Since your short on time - Walk through the Capital..it takes as long as you want it to take.

If you're there dusk, watch the bats at the South Congress Bridge

eat lunch on the patio at Vivos

If you like indian food, you have to try out The Clay Pit. It's great.

I also second Barton Springs, or go kayaking on town lake.

A lot of suggestions. Went to downtown and saw the White House. Silly me, I try turning in there. All those hippie mothafuggas didn't like my high beams and kept hitting trash on the freeway. All those steep ass streets. 3/10 what a dissapointment. I ran over a raccoon through the middle of my car? You think he died?
