Any games like Halo on the market right now?

I've been playing this more lately, anyone want to hook up and play sometime? Maybe tonight after the Rox game. Anyone have Road to Rome? I heard they were going to do another expansion pack also.

 

I love the multiplayer aspects of Halo, a also like the single player part of it.

I love playing with a friend in a multiplayer joint effort through the actual levels, however, and that is my favorite part of the game.

In the new game, you'll be able to have up to 4 play in that game. But the multiplayer aspect should be the best part of the whole experience, I think.

 

Unreal Tournament was a good game. Lots of fun in multiplayer. The game that ruled in multiplayer was Counterstrike at my school. so many people played that on the LAN.

Multi-player on the new Bond game is better than Halo IMO. Halo is too much of a "run at them and shoot, and hope they run out of ammo" game for my liking.

 

Cool, I think I got it already. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a RtoR specific map.

Halo pales in comparison to BF1942......

In what ways is BF1942 better?

 

Halo is an ok game, but man, it does not compare to BF1942.

Think of it this way up to 64 players in the FPS at once.

Fighthing on foot, in airplanes, in jeeps, tanks, APCs, mobile Artillery guns, ships, subs, etc...etc....

All fighting at one time......

The game flat out rocks.

That is pretty cool, but I like controlled games.

Halo is very controlled. I know exactly what I'm doing and what people are doing to me.

Whenever I play PC FPS games, I never know when the other guy is going to die.

 

He dies when you shoot him or knife him or blow him up with an exp pack or grenade or...well you get the picture.
