Here are the guys that made it, who's your early favorite? Bryon Russell Pat Garrity Dirk Nowitzki Steve Nash Allan Houston Predrag Stojakovic Rashard Lewis Ray Allen ------------------
Predag Stojackovic with my sleepers being Dirk and Ray ------------------ I don't cry when my dog runs away I don't get angry at the bills I have to pay I don't get angry when my mom smokes pot hits the bottle and goes back to the rock f%ck&n fightin it's all the same live with louie dog's the only way to stay sane let the lovin' let the lovin' come back to me
Rashard Lewis? He hits a good percentage of 3s, but is hardly a pure shooter. What about Matt Nodefense? ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
Ray Allen and Allan Houston haven't impressed me much in prior 3 point competitions, so I don't favor them. Typically, guards with quick releases and a pure stroke do good in this event, so I'm gonna go with Steve Nash, with Bryon Russell as my sleeper. ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. There's no doubt. We expect to get in."-- Steve Francis President of the Mo Taylor and Jason Collier fan club! Teams win and lose games, not individuals. Predrag with Ray as sleeper. ------------------ Charles Barkley on TBS on the "fat track" poll: "What? 47% said I'd gain more.....why those.....they better be glad this is a family show."
I'm a big fan of Allan Houston, but the three-point contest favors players with a quick release...or actually, a player who is comfortable with a quick release. Now, if the league allowed another player to bump Houston before every shot, then I'd say he would be the favorite (because he plays better off contact). Not Allan Houston. Here's hoping he lasts longer than Ray Allen. I like the player from Sacramento. Pedrag Stoakovic, too. ------------------ "Breaking up is hard to do...[with] everyone trying to make it a parting befitting all the professionalism that came before. Trying to find that Olajuwon graceful fade one more time." Scott Howard-Cooper (Sacramento Bee, ESPN.com)
I'm wrapping myself up in the flag and going with Steve Nash, baby! ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
Weird list. Only 2 of the top 10 in total 3s (Allen, Nowitzki) and 2 of the top 10 in percentage (Russell, Garrity). I think guards have the advantage here. Give me Allen, with Houston my sleeper. ------------------ I am Jack's utter lack of surprise. www.clutchtown.com
where on earth is our man BULLARD!!??!!??!! oh yeah where is rice on that list poor him lol ------------------ "Wahooo"-homer I'm not only a fan but I'm also the bartender at clutchcity chat For the last time I'm not Tybrave!!!!!
I'll go with Steve Nash with Stojakovic as my sleeper. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.
I'll take Peja Stojakovic 1st, w/ Ray Allen and Nash coming close. I don't think Nowitzki is the right kind of shooter for this competition. My take for last place...Rashard Lewis, or Russell. I would say Garrity, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen him play. I must have missed both Orlando games last year. ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis
I think russel will win, he is a semi-streaky shooter and could light it up. ------------------ President of the Charles Barkley fan club...Oh he retired? When?
Forget all the pure shooters stuff Let me be the first to call this one Dirk Nowitzki. Bank on it ------------------ "I have amazing, powers of observation"...Pink
Walt or Bull definitely should of gone. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
Absolutely shake! He was really the "surprise" last year & he's improved a ton since then. ------------------ C-son _ __________ _ !Viva La' Dream!
