I don't see how Jones' "incident", being as overblown as it seems to be, makes him less likely to start.

Considering the T-Jones arrest and potential outcomes, and how the Rockets organization feels I could totally see D-Mo getting the start at the beginning of the season.

Plus, With what I've seen of him this off season in preparation of this coming and playing for his home country, his drive is rather impressing me. I think T-Jones has been getting the nod due to mostly him being in the states and around the rest of the roster, but I haven't been that impressed with him developmental wise. Looked like Dleague T-Jones instead of an NBA ready T-Jones during summer league play..

im going with our playoff lineup + howard:

    dwight(30)-asik(18)-camby-smith
    parsons(36)-casspi(12)-tjones-donuts
    garcia(30)-williams(12)
    harden(36)-bev(24)
    lin(30)-brooks(12)-canaan

parsons and casspi will be the stretch 4's. garcia showed he was a 3 and D playerthat can rebound and handle the ball, he's a good all around player at the 3 spot. williams will try to replace delfino's role off the bench. brooks showed he could produce, especially as a shooter with dwight on board, and bev played with lin and brooks enough that we can go with a 2 pg lineup off the bench. either way brooks is getting pt this year because of dwight and his shooting ability. covington, henriquez, and young will be with RGV.

i don't think we will trade asik or lin this season. if anything, DM will keep his streak of trade deadline deals alive in usual under the radar fashion. i think we have an excess of bigs and pg's and need help on the wing. plus, i'm sure they'd like to bring covington on board because of his shooting and the fact that he plays on the wing which has no depth right now. this is going to be a big year for jones and donuts, both seem to have improved but if they still can't earn PT one will be dumped along with one of the PG's to upgrade the 3 or the 4 and allow covington to join the team.

There will be no PF, just 4 guys who can shoot 3s and Howard :D On D it will be Harden who will defend PFs, just like he did to Ibaka

I actually said that his position in the Rockets organization is murky at best and I viewed in very likely that Jones would not be a member of the Rockets organization by this time next year.

Oh man... Me no likey Parsons at the 4... He would physically get killed at the 4 spot... Switch him and Garcia around...

I really see DMo starting with Jones as a backup

Like how you programmed in the minutes tho. Thats good stuff. :)

TJones. Bonded with the guys in LA, so his chemistry with the team will be better than DMo's to start.

I want it to be al harrington.
If not then I want it to be asik in twin tower goodness.

If you guys are going to be babies about twin tower goodness then I will be okay with Dmo for that stretch 4 option.

One is basically saying "If I had to guess, I'd say he's probably going to be gone. It's not certain... but I'd say it's likely."

And the other is basically saying "In my opinion, he's gone. No doubt about it. He's already gone in my mind. He's a dead man walking. He's 100% gone in my opinion".

    Quite different.

I voted Terrence Jones. I think his athleticism and hustle play will gain him those minutes over D-Mo. I do not think Terrence's legal issue will have any effect on this.

I believe Terrence Jones will start at PF and that Chandler Parsons will probably finish games at PF

I have to question your understanding of the English language. I said in my OPINION ie mind he is gone. That is incredibly different from saying that he is gone. I did not say the Rockets were going to get rid of Jones. I said that in my view the Rockets probably will get rid of him.

Is there really any difference between these two statements?

    and
