I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that's a team that plays with a lot of grit.

    Good for his conditioning

I think this is a good thing. I remember in the regular season that he didn't have much wind. I love this guy's work ethic and I believe this rigorous schedule will only help him to be ready by training camp.

    Jonas = John
Jonas is as popular name in Lithuania as John is in US.

Kleiza won't come of the bench - he's Lithuania's best player.

Some of these friendly games won't be any better than summer league, because Lithuania will be experimenting a lot, first games after weightlifting sessions, and the opposing teams like belgium, georgia, sweden... teams that are FAR FAR away from europe's elite. I'd say some games will be worse than SL, some will be better.

I disagree, he's not in the NBA anymore for a reason, give me Valanciunas over him any day.

I predict the five best player in this squad in order are:
    1. Valanciunas
    2. Kleiza
    3. Lavrinovic brothers
    4. D-Mo
    5. Maciulis

In international play its a totally different player you see with Kleiza. Much like Juan Carlos Navarro, and many other, there are some players whose games just dont mesh well on an NBA team. Kleiza had some good moments in the NBA, but he's really much better suited for the international game.

LOL Carl, you don't know your geography. Bosnia and Herzegovina are the two top players on the Molvanian team. So sometimes they just list that team with the two names. In fact, sometimes they just field two players depending on the status of the harvest season.

Reminder to keep an eye out for Asik at Eurobasket 2013 also. He's with Turkey, right?

Can they put the Lavrinovic brothers in at the 3 when they play Bosnia & Herzegovina? Might help even the odds a bit.

I hope he stops playing for the national team in a couple years, this is why Yao broke down, too much work.

DMo spent a lot of time on the bench last year. I think this experience will help him going into the season and give him an edge on "Stomp" Jones who appears to be working the club scene.

Pretty common name in Lithuania. Lucky every kid who doesn't get name of Arminas or Justinas (also names in Lithuania). That's just bully target in any english speaking country. Fact!

If I were the coach, I'd start Donuts and Valanciunas, especially considering these are friendlies. The Lavrinovic twins are breaking down fast as they grow older, you might as well give your young guns a chance to build some chemistry and maybe you'll get a frontline for the next decade.
