Would you still be a Rockets fan if Lin would be traded?

I don't need a subconscious to tell me that you aren't a true Rockets fans and don't know who John Lennon is.

There is no Lin debate. you would leave clutchfans like Usain Bolt in a sprint if Lin is not here.

Settle down, tinman. I've been a Rockets fan for 11 years now: I can even tell you who Vassilus Spanoulis was and that Rocket fans would often refer to him as "Hercules" even though he didn't play like a Hercules and in fact acted like a big baby and didn't last half the season. Anyway...leave the Lin-only fans alone; I'm sure you can find a better word to refer to them by than "scum".

 

Yeah, it's really nice to know there are some rational, thinking people like Rox23 on here. They bring a breath of fresh air that helps mitigate the stench of fanaticism.

It's really easy. Anyone with a registration date before Jeremy Lin became a Rocket will still be here. And probably 90 % of those with a registratoin date after he became a Rocket. So, I don't think there is a problem. Also, I hope Lin will remain a Rocket. Great player to root for. Doesn't stomp on homeless people.

I would like to keep Lin for one more season, given the new roster he has to work with. He's still young, has shown promise, and we got rid of him prematurely once before and Morey won't make that mistake again.

With that said, if Lin were to be traded tomorrow morning I would still be a Rockets fan. If Howard or Harden were traded tomorrow morning I would still be a Rockets fan. So, that's that.

This is like watching a dictatorship ask people who wants to be a criminal so they know who to get rid of...

 

Everyone started somewhere. Some because of Hakeem. Some because of yao some.because of.tmac etc. but a lot of Lin fans take it overboard and **** up this forum with no respect or courtesy.
