This is such a stupid question. Of course Pac would win. He fights for a living! Yao would just be a big fat target. All he would have to do is punch Yao's gut, make Yao bend over from the pain, and uppercut his head.
So many uneducated fight analysts in this thread, what you guys fail to understand is Pacman is not only a professional boxer but he is a legend in his sport, even in a fight against a giant like Yao he would make short work of him, its like putting a pro NBA player against a high school player, the difference in skill and instinct is mindblowingly huge, Yao wouldn't stand a chance.

Paq man would destroy Yao. When I was in HS there was this tall dude about 6'4" messing with a Hispanic dude about 5'6", but the little dude could fight, must have been a boxer. He unleashed a body attack on the guy, doubled him over and then went went right and left hook on the guys face. Knocked him cold, the fight lasted about a minute.
pretty lame question pretty lame question but heres my take. Pac would win in a boxing fight, hes trained to hit. He wouldn't have to hit the chin, he just have to give a good body blows to Yao as well as tire yao out. However it will be a closer match then a matchup between the two in basketball. Pac will have absolutely no chance in a bball matchup against yao. The boxing matchup would be a bit closer fair matchup.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned their respective abilities to take punishment. Pacman has trained all his life to get punched and shrug it off. As others have mentioned Yao has probably never been in a fight. As a result, taking a couple of hard hits is going to be a real shock to his system. I seriously believe a single gut shot is all it will take. Game set and match inside one minute.
