I don't care about his character as long as he's beasting on the court.

i think "stomp" is exaggerated, media sensationalism.

he was probably just tapping with his foot, like a "wake up" nudge or something...

Well I think T Jones looks like a nice guy. I'm curious what the reality of the situation is. I'm inclined to believe he didn't just start stomping the **** out of some dude.

If true this is a real d-bag move, but not really a major offense.

I certainly don't like it, but you don't need everybody to be a choir boy.

Hopefully, it's not that kind of 'rehabilitation' for TJones.

Athletes arent angels no point in spending time defending someone you dont know. No reason to condemn him either. THis is like Brewers fans defending Braun Knicks fans defending J Kidd after the drunk driving thing. You just dont know a guy and you can still root for a guy on your team even if he maybe a bit of a dick.

Maybe we should just have Jones and Riley Cooper fight each other on TV as punishment for each.

Gotta love all the CF apologists. There is absolutely no excuse for this behavior and it reflects badly on the Rockets organization. CU Mr. Jones.

The hobo probably flicked Jones lips.

Seriously though, Jones was probably drunk or on something, this doesnt effect his locker room and court character.

According to a police spokesman, Sgt. Anthony Passadore observed Jones shortly after 2 a.m. walk past two men sleeping in a doorway, shouted “wake up” and stomped on one of the men’s legs. Jones was with a group of about eight people when he was stopped and taken into custody about a half a block from the incident

Just to be clear, the charge is "harassment" not "assault." That's a pretty substantial difference.

lol at anyone who thinks Jones would maliciously stomp on a homeless guy, and don't you think if it was malicious, the guy would be hurt pretty bad? Jones is 6'9" and 250 lbs, if he is gonna stomp on someone, they are gonna be in a lot of pain. its much more likely that he nudged the guy and the situation just got out of hand. and he wasn't even charged with assault, just harassment, which means there probably wasn't so much an assault as much as just an annoyance.

Yep sounds like stupid drunk people. Man I miss the good ole days when our NBA players chilled out and smoked pot. Rasheed never foot stomped anyone in Portland.
