I haven't, but I want to, badly. Didn't you say you were going to see him this summer...? Ticketmaster doesn't have anything scheduled in Texas this summer...are you flying to a concert?

Right now, that CD be a special promotional one - actually quite good. Includes the Evanescence song "Bring Me to Life", Jason Mraz and a bunch of other stuff, and the bluegrass-flavored "Roll the Stone Away" by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. (Yes, I must be old.)

The next two brand new CDs I will probably buy when I think I can spare the cash: Evanescence, and Coldplay "A Rush of Blood to the Head". Plus a bunch of used ones (at least you get more music for your money that way - it's just stuff no one else is listening to. :( )

-"Elephant" White Stripes (I think they are the real deal)

"Hail to the Thief" Radiohead (leaked on the net a few months early...seems pretty good after a couple of listens)

2 Many DJ's "As Heard on Radio Soulwax"

    "Fashionably Late" Linda Thompson

    "Electric Version" New Pornographers

    "Live @ West 54th" Beck

    "Pink Moon" Nick Drake

"Dub Side of the Moon" Easy Dub All-Stars (A dub version of "Dark Side of the Moon"...great stuff...the intro to "Money" is a loop of a lighter, bong and coughing)

"A Girl Called Dusty" Dusty Springfield

Wow...this is a first. A music thread where I don't recognize at least 25% of the stuff mentioned...Who is really the dork here?

only have one slot in the CD player in my new car...and it currently holds 3 Doors Down--The better Life

my little case that I carry in there only has burnt mix CDs...and Iron Maiden's Brave New World..

Jeff, Im just getting into jazz, I prefer jazz fusion....got any recommendations?

Good to know that this stuff is still liked by people. If there are drawings to m.davis (sketches) it must be something special.

WIll definitely check it out. Thanks.
