Moral booster when promotions come from within house. New hires for the newly promoted. Positive spin for the Rockets. Gonna hate losing some of those brilliant minds though. Best of luck to them.

One of his blogs talks about the best statistical offensive lineups of the past season in the whole NBA and rank 1 is hilarious to me...

1 LAL Farmar Vujacic Bryant Odom Turiaf

His blogs are impressive to say the least, however their all so dated so its not as exciting to read.

however thanks for the link good friend

Well, they have Gianlucca Pascucci mentioned as one of the guys to be promoted from within in the article. I don't know anything about the guy but his name sounds European so he must have connections in the Euro/FIBA world. We don't want no "Justin Johnson" or "Andrew Smith" doing that work, that's for sure.

They may be known to you, Darrell Maury, but for some of us at Clutchfans these promotions are clearly inknown commodities.

Amir's Johnson. He once posted a picture of himself at the Dwight Rally. He's not this guy.

    Congrats to Gersson.

He went from being an intern to an NBA GM in less than 10 years.

Eventually we are going to see lots of little Moreys ruling the whole NBA.

Soon, Morey's minions will have infiltrated 25-30% of NBA clubs. He'll become the Godfather of NBA GMs and all of his "capo's" will be required to keep things "in the family" in the form of lopsided trades and 2nd round picks. Clearly this has been Morey's ultimate plan all along...insider trading at it's finest.

All future trades are belong to us.

Although I absolutely agree with your sentiment, that's actually the first thing that came to mind when I saw he was named among those departing, but I'm pretty sure Morey does a lot of scouting overseas himself.

Even though he might not have the same plug as he would with a Karnisovas I would be willing to bet money that he is not completely in the dark regarding international gems who can be possibly acquired.

This just in. Lin is going to double up as an analyst, putting his Harvard econ degree to use.

The truth in Morey's genius: creating a fertile management farm system, whereby his vision is spread throughout the NBA by assimilation into all teams. All your analytics are belong to us!

Lin: "Daryl, my super advanced stats are telling me that Harden would be best suited as our 6th man coming off the bench. "

    Morey: "Nice try."
