Please don't make this a Lin thread. Howard or Harden? Harden, we can build around him. Our 1st scoring option. Most improved player. Along with Parsons and Lin, make Houston the most desirable FA destination in years to come. That said, I would put Howard as the face of the franchise. As good as Harden is, he can be exchangeable. You put other elite pg, sg, sf, i.e. westbrook, cp3, rose, durant.....Rockets will be just as dangerous. But Howard is unique, the best big man in last five, six years. No one even come close. An instant impact. Elevate us to title contender. For some reason if Harden goes, and we get durant, the Rockets still stay at the same level, but if Howard goes, no one can replace him.
Judging from the Convention Center they will both be the faces of the franchise. Neither player will be pissed off about not being the only face of the franchise.
Harden no doubt, to be a franchise player, you need to be able to create at any time, Harden can Dwight can't. That being said, they are gonna be a sick duo. They really complement each other well.
I don't think there's any question that this is hardens team. Well appreciate what howard will do, but he's not the face of the team, and i dont think he wants to be.
The face to me is Chandler Bang by a country mile The face to people on bleacher will disappointingly be dwights team
Telling people not to turn this into a Lin thread is the same as asking to make this thread about Lin.
