No Country for Old Men - 7/10

Am I crazy for thinking this movie was overrated? Never got around to seeing it when it came out, watched it last night because I heard great things, and I just wasn't that into it considering the hype. Great acting and some cool scenes, but overall I thought it was just "pretty good".

    Let the flaming ensue...

    Moonrise Kingdom

Probably my second favorite Wes Anderson film next to Rushmore.

    8/10

Had to of been in the wrong mood. I fell in love with that movie.
Reeeeeally didn't anticipate liking it as much as I did. So much damn charm in it and IMO he has finally perfected 'his style' with this one.

    8.5/10

But the last movie I saw was Warm Bodies... 7/10

Same situation. Just a warm hearted movie with so much damn charm.
The director, Jonathan Levine is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors.
The Wackness is horrendously slept on and personally maybe top 15 favorite films of all time for me. <3

Jagten aka "The Hunt" 8.5/10. A Film about a mans life being progresively ruined by a child's accusation in a small town. Uncomfortable to watch as a man. A Danish film with Mads Mikkelsen who's great preformance as the lead shines.

Somm 7/10 Documentary about aspiring American Sommeliers.

Lore 9/10. A film about a journey of a group of siblings centered around the eldest sister named Lore in postwar (II) Germany. The journey exposes the children to the realities of war from which they were shielded from by their SS father. The young actress here that portrayed Lore was fantastic.

Agreed with this review as well. It wasn't your regular toned down hero flick. To add, Batman was pretty bada$$ here as well.

    Annie Hall
    4/10
    Woody Allen film.
I might have cracked a half smile once.

and I absolutely LOVED woody allen in the sleeper.

Annie Hall sucked. It felt like a jewish version of sex in the city.. and no sex. with a jewish guy that they keeping telling you.. and he keeps telling you- he's jewish. Yep I heard you say it the first 28 times you said it.. turrible.. or didnt age well perhaps despite appearances of walken and goldblum. I give a movie a min of 4/10 alone if it has allen walken and goldblum. This is the only level on which Annie hall met. I am disappointed in people that may say they like annie hall.

Pacific RIM 10/10. It give you everything you want in an action movie: Awesome giant mechs, cool monsters, and passable acting. It's good stuff.

    Trance 7.5/10

This movie started out great but the motivations of Rosario Dawson was confusing. I didn't see trailers for this film so seeing Rosario full frontal naked was surprising but a welcome surprise.

    A Highjacking - 3.4/10

Just caught this at Sundance downtown. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. Bland acting, no development of any characters, and most of all, completely and utterly dull. I found myself tuning out and just waiting for it to be over. No clue how this got a 97% on RT

Pretty much, keep in mind it's in the context of an action movie. It made feel 12 again and go "awesome robots and monsters" and stop caring about anything else.

Avengers and X-Men first class didn't do that for me and I liked both of these movies. It's not a thinking movie, but I really really like it.

Sunshine - 4/10 Started out with promise but the 2nd half was totally ruined it

Silver Lining Playbook - 8/10 Was thinking it would just be a typical chick flick but was very enjoyable
