Nothing...he's only problem is he got caught up with a gold-digger/professional groupie. Thing with J.J., unlike some NBA players, he was actually hip to their game. I should applaud him for take such care with his life, and not recklessly having 2 - infinite number of children from a long line of women.
You mean... if this bogus story was true, which it apparently is not. It's a real problem in this country that we believe the first report we see online and run with it. I mean... whatever, and it's no big deal here. (What do I care about JJ Redick anyway). But both threads keep churning on as if this tabloid report is 100% true, which JJ completely denies from the get-go.

Redick is a smart and classy guy, he wouldn't get in a mess like this. One of the better mannered guys in the NBA.
He said he never fathered a child by her, and said he never aborted a child fathered by him. The lie would be that he forced an abortion for a child HE HIMSELF fathered. He technically didnt outright deny the contract. It leaves a plausible circumstance that she got knocked up but it was NOT his kid. But maybe he still tried to protect himself in advance anyway. There was a separate report that happened around the contract time that JJ Redick's brother was sending that girl threatening texts over a "legal matter". He coulda had his bro act as goon to keep his name more out of it. True or not and probably not, very pitifully clever whoever concocted the contract scheme
Technically I don't. I merely try to add counterpoint to so many people who assume a salacious blog post coming from someone with no special authority is 100% accurate. It's pathetic, really. But again, I don't really care about Redick. I can manufacture a convincing looking contract written by the blue monkeys who flew out of his ass and post that, however. Maybe we can get outraged about that as well.

Yeah, there are libel laws to protect you from this. You make stuff up your going to jail or getting sued. I think you are talking about rumors instead. If that document was made up, J.J. would sue. I think one of the previous posts got it right that he was protecting himself and she didn't actually have an abortion. He didn't deny the contract. Women make men stupid, that is if you have a normal sex drive.
