    What does Lin have anything to do with China? He was born in friggin LA right? His facial features? I'm pretty sure any true "China Rep" DH would be getting would be from Yao.

    Kind of silly how people think Jeremy Lin impacts the fan base in China in any way. If you really want them to come out in droves, bring Kobe, or Yao. If you want to bring Jeremy, make a detour to Taiwan but that's about it. They can probably preach a sermon together or something. But good to know D12 is making a round trip to China, they love basketball.

    to be fair he isn't just starting to be busy collecting money. he's made trips to China in the past.

    pretty sure he started to get busy collecting money the moment he got drafted, and probably even earlier than that.

    Dwight Howard gave up $30M guaranteed money to become a Rocket. He has to make the money back. The child support payments have to come from somewhere.
