Don't get me wrong, I like and appreciate Morey plenty, but that right there's just downright nightmare-inducing!

Can't Morey use Moreyball to replace his team like he did with the Rockets?

Morey's assistants were just assets.......as long as we have Morey, we're fine.

I think it will be interesting to see how if any of them can successfully implement "Moreyball," as I'm sure these owners are hoping. It's one thing to see the concept on paper. GARM's history will show you that it's a totally different thing to have the patience for the methodology to succeed.

Really like what Hinkie has done with the Sixers so far though.

I agree this is a legit concern, FO is the most critical resource in the NBA. However since we just got DH, Harden and parsons I think we already have some breathing room, instead of trying to build a contender DM just needs to not F it up for the next 3 years. That should give the FO some time to rebuild.

One of Morey's greatest strength was to find undervalued assets to fill in crucial roles. That's why you see Chase Budinger, Chandler Parsons, Greg Smith and Patrick Beverly succeed here. I am concerned if we will see a dip in that area going forward.

I bet Morey has his pick of the litter from MIT statisticians looking to learn from the master. Of the MIT guys who care about sports that is.

Is it because they disliked Morey? Or they felt they weren't given enough credit?

Opportunity, more money and better position. Alexander The Great will keep the Rockets in good places for a while.

Morey isn't going anywhere. Les allowed him the chance to put his money where his mouth is with his strategies and philosophies, no way he abandons his own creation.

How is it that the front office was taken apart by the nba but not a single coach was hired away?

Another one bite the dust!

Morey must be difficult to work for :p

Meanwhile, our coaches are stuck here eternally albeit all the reported interviews.
