Not that I'm disagreeing with you...but did you really think Harden could lead a team when he was a 6th man on the Thunder?

It's too hard to say when we just don't know.

Westbrook isnt a leader. He is a superior athletic talent on a superior team. If it was Westbrook on the rockets i dont think we make the playoffs. He is too much of a bonehead and i dont think hes a great team player. Granted we would have got close.

If westbrook was with houston, jlin wouldn't even have his share of touches with the ball.

    I'll take harden.

Harden cuz he's gonna be a champion soon!! But Westbrook has surprised me this past year. There's something to be said about sheer athleticism which can sometimes overshadow basketball knowledge, I guess.

Westbrook is much better but he is a head case

Harden isn't as talented but he seems like he goes with the flow and won't be a total cancer on a team

Clutchfans, where we choose superstars by how often they'll let Lin touch the ball.

Obviously none of you look at advanced stats. Harden did have a rough final month. But his stats are better then westbrooks across the board.

You say westbrook is better because he is more athletic.

The problem with westbrook is that he has terrible IQ, he has too much of an ego and it is easy to get in his head.

Westbrook can look way better then harden on some nights...but over the course of the season hardens stats and style of play will ALWAYS turn out better.

I suspect you guys have not watched westbrook play very much at all...as someone stated even thunder fans get annoyed by his bonehead plays. If you replaced him with rondo or CP3 thunder would be unstoppable. He doesnt make his teammates better other than penetrating(drawing in defense) then kicking out.

He will shoot the thunder right out of the game...which doesnt kill that team because they have Durant. If you were to swap harden and westbrook right now. The rockets would be SUBSTANTIALLY worse and Thunder would be slightly better.

Much easier to get a competent floor general that can knock down threes to play next to harden then a Pg in a SG body to baby westbrook.

I dont even think westbrook is a top ten player. I have been saying this since the thunder first won in the playoffs. You cannot be a successful team when your PG plays like kobe especially when he isnt nearly as good.

Harden is without a doubt better than Westbrook.

I would say they are equal offensively, but Westbrook plays better defense. So overall Westbrook is slightly better.

Agree. Rondo skills are far below CP3.

Any stats for defense, leadership and aggressiveness?

Stats are skewed most of the time.

I wasnt saying that...put he plays smart and makes other better.

Thunder has enough talent to be the best team in the NBA. Westbrook is a great player but he his what prevents them from being the best team I think.

It would be better for the PG of that team to average 15-16 points a game and get others more involved...especially a guy named durant.

if they had a stat for "bad shot" , "knuckle head foul", "unnecessary tech" , "selfish play"

i could do this all day IMO

(just thought id throw that in there) ha
