Yes, only a few players on the Rockets are good. We've been expecting too much from them. The fact that they are still above .50 is quite an achievement - compared with the results of last 3 years. It is sad that they still don't believe teamplay is much better than iso.

I really don't think Jefferson would be doing that well on any team in the West, and I think Griffin just mighta been able to do about as well or better than Richard in Jersey based on how he did last season during that stretch of injuries that really let him shine.

Maybe I'm hideously wrong, I dunno, but I guess I can't talk since we got freakin discombobulated tonight. We have got to somehow win BOTH of these last 2 games on this trip. Critical stretch.

Yes. Rox staff only know how to ruin the good players!!!

What a jerk! How can you play Mooch, EG, Cato and Posey for so long??? We needed SF and YM to cut the lead? It's even more stupid to let our best players play in garbage time!

This is why the rockets lost. See the broken finger and the benched Yao? OK, and our PG of the game.

You said it damn right! Ouch, it really hurts to admit the fact that this team is simply a sub-par basketball team.

TrickDaddy's an idiot...he thinks his bashing of Yao (check out the yao won't get ROY thread) is important enough to have its own thread instead of being in the game thread.

2738 views and 126 responses....yeah it sure wasn't that important to have its own thread. Everyone who viewed it or responded on it must be idiots also.

There is a point in Trickdaddy1319's question. How come only 2 rbs in a game? I did not watch the game but it was very unlike Yao.

I am wondering if this has sth to do with EG's called "selfish offense".

a few games ago The Most Dominant Center did not have a single rebound in the first haft. He got a total of 5 rebounds in 44 minutes and 3 of those were from his own missed shot in the last minutes of the game.

Some people always find something to bash the rookie even when he finally got out of the slump.

I was talking about the 2nd thread that you started about yao with 2 rebounds...which was about this game...which was now merged here...rightfully so.

Yes, TrickDaddy is ridiculous. As you could check my history, I am not a Yao only lover nor do I blast our friends here before. Even he is a Yao hater, however, he should pick an opportune time to do that.

When Yao is clearly the best player on the court tonight, that only show this idiot has nothing in his mind but blind bias. Either he does not know basketball or he is a fake Rocket fan. When the misses are from outside shots, the rebounds tend to be long; and that was why the NJ guards had so many rebounds when our guards did not run well. The same could be said of Forwardss for both teams as they missed the mid-range shots often. By the same token, the starting Centre of NJ, Jason Collins, got only 4 rebounds and Cato only 3.

Also, when Yao was shooting at such a high FG %, he would not go for the rebound of his own shots as well. A lot of time, you had a better chance of getting your own missed shots for centre because you know where it will fall before others know.

Yet, I think I am wasting my time explaining that when someone obviously would hear nothing but Yao is bust even when Yao could easily score 50 points tonight if he took as many shots as Jason Kidd.

    :( :( :(
